Baby farts

While cooking dinner last night, we had this conversation:

Amie: When I grow up, I will have a hundred, a thousand babies!
Me: Oh my, that will keep you very busy. How will you take care of them all?
Amie: Um, by keeping them alive. I won't kill them. I'll fart on them.

I had no response to that, other than laughing. What else could I say?

We've been doing the rewards chart thing again to help her with her sleep problems, and yesterday she filled up the row for staying in bed when she's put there at night. Her reward was this Barbie pool she'd been eyeing off, which was much more affordable than the Furreal Friends Pup Cookie that she wants (it's normally $98 from what I've seen, but still too expensive for my liking. I don't know where she got this taste for expensive toys from!).

Poor puppy wouldn't float.

She's one tick away on the 'stay in bed all night' target, and when she gets that, I'll take her to the movies for the first time. She's incredibly excited to see Cars 2, so hopefully that will still be playing when she finally earns it!

Barbie ended up topless, but out of respect for her privacy those photos won't be shown.

The third target we're aiming for on her rewards chart is for her to not wake me up until 7:00am (with a reward of going to the beach again), but she's not doing so well there. She's only achieved one tick there, though she's come close a few times. 6:56am is a case of close, but not close enough. Mama would like a little more sleep!

This morning she came in about 6 and climbed into bed with me. We lay there talking and playing for a while, when she gets up and sits on my chest.

Me: what are you doing?
Amie: farting on you.
Me: what?!?
Amie: *farts*
Me: oh dear god.

We then had a discussion about how that's not okay, but she finally made good with that threat of hers!

She was hit by a random fever at day care today, so I picked her up early and finally convinced her to have a nap. I know she must be feeling under the weather, as I'm rarely able to get her to nap these days! I think she's going through a growth spurt lately, given how she's been eating and tripping over her feet. I measured her the other morning and she's 109cm/almost 3'7". Girl is gonna be tall! But there wasn't much doubt about that :)
