14th
I was just playing with Amie, and after giving her a playful tap on the butt, she said "hey! you're going to make me ink!"
Can you guess who's been watching Finding Nemo?
16th
So, not only did Amie come into my bed last night, but her koala, monkey and elephant did too. She then woke at 3 and insisted on discussing how she needed a telescope so she could see the moon and stars and other far away objects, and then insisted on sharing my pillow, leaving me on the edge of the bed. oh, the sacrifices one makes...
***
Amie has realised that her curls are just like springs. Much springing and sproinging of her hair followed that realisation.
If she lies on her dominoes, then they don't need to be put away.
17th
Nothing quite like being woken up at quarter to six by a little someone sneaking into your room, giggling as they go, to turn your lamp on to surprise you into waking up.
18th
Amie found a coin on my desk, held it close to her chest and said (in a deep gravelly voice) MY PRECIOUS. Ah, I teach her well.
25th
I was playing memory with Amie and K (my god daughter). All the cards were different fruit and Amie was doing really well. I asked her if she remembered where the other bananas were. Her answer? "In the fridge!" Can't fault that.
26th
Amie has the Whats. They're worse than the Whys, I'm sure.
29th
When I was putting Amie to bed, she wanted to tell me a ~scary story~, which went something like this: Once upon a time there was a mummy and an Amie and the mummy put the Amie into a ~dark~ cave. Then Amie went into the light and was inside mummy's tummy. And then Amie came out and was crying like a baby because she was a baby.
30th
Amie was trying to blow the fog away. So if it disappears quickly - blame her!
Despite her attempts, she couldn't get rid of the fog by herself.
